Instructions

  1. Depending on the desired intensity, get 10 to 15 flower umbels (or if you like it more intense, even more) of the elder and soak them in 2 liters of apple juice. Add the fresh mint leaves. Add the zest of an organic lime, cover and let steep for 24 hours.
  2. Strain the liquid through a fine sieve and, along with the preserving sugar and the juice of a lime, bring to the boil according to the instructions and pour into clean glasses. If you like, you can add fresh mint leaves when filling, which enhances the taste of mint until it is opened.
  3. Makes approx. 12 pieces, depending on the size of the glasses.
