Wash, peel, halve and core the apple and pear and cut into small pieces. Beat the egg with the sugar, oil and milk until frothy. Mix the flour with the baking powder and salt, add to the egg mixture and stir together. Add the apple and pear pieces and fold in carefully.
Pour the dough into a muffin tin and bake at about 170 degrees for about 15 minutes. Let the muffins cool, sprinkle with powdered sugar and serve.
