Instructions

  1. A small baking dish is brushed with coconut oil.
  2. The apple is washed and cut into eighths, the core and stem are cut out. Then the apple pieces are processed into small slices with a rasp.
  3. With a tablespoon of the honey, the apple slices are simmered for 10 minutes at medium temperature with the lid closed. They should be soft, but not yet mushy.
  4. Half the banana is first cut into small pieces. Then the pieces are crushed with a fork to make a fine purée. The puree is mixed with the rest of the honey, salt, water and maple syrup to form a golden-yellow, viscous mass. Now add the spelled flour and baking powder as well as the finely grated almonds. Briefly knock through again and our dough is ready.
  5. Now our apple compote is layered in the small baking dish. Then the apple slices are covered with our dough and baked at 180 ° C for about 20 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Now we take the baking dish out of the oven and let it cool down in peace.
  7. The cooled mass is distributed on dessert plates and garnished with the powdered sugar. Our healthy and tasty snack is ready.
