Put the milk in a saucepan and bring to a boil. When the milk starts to boil, reduce the temperature and only let it simmer gently.
Wash and core the apple, cut into small cubes and add to the milk. Add the raisins and nuts and simmer for about 5 minutes. Stir again and again. Put the oat flakes in the pot and let it swell, stirring here too.
All ingredients are to be used according to your own taste.
If the food is too firm, add milk. If the dish is too runny, add more oatmeal.
If you prefer the food sweeter, you can add maple syrup or honey, for example.
