Instructions

  1. Peel the apples, cut out the core and cut into 1 cm thick rings. Put the rings in a bowl, sprinkle with the sugar and drizzle with lemon juice and rum. Cover and leave to draw.
  2. Put the flour, almonds, apple juice, eggs, white wine, salt and grated lemon zest in a bowl and mix everything together to form a thick mixture. Let it swell for about 30 minutes.
  3. Pull the marinated apple rings through the batter and bake in a pan, floating in the hot fat, for about 2 minutes. Turn the cake and bake on the other side for another 2 minutes.
  4. Toast the almond flakes in a second non-stick pan. Roll the apple fritters in the almond flakes. Dust with powdered sugar and serve.
