Wash the apples thoroughly in hot water, rub dry, rub the peel on a fine grater.
Then peel off the white skin, remove any seeds. Cut oranges into wedges and chop with a hand mixer.
Wash the apples, peel them, remove the bad spots, core them, cut into wedges, also chop them up.
In a large saucepan, bring the fruit pieces with the orange peel, sugar and citric acid to the boil. Add the gelling agent and simmer for another 10 seconds.
Pour jam into twist-off jars, close tightly and turn upside down for approx. 15 minutes.
