Peel, core and finely slice 2 apples. Line the round cake tin with a layer of apple slices and spread half of the batter on top. Place the remaining apple slices on top and distribute the remaining dough on top.
Bake in the preheated oven (180 °) for about 45 minutes. Depending on how juicy the apples are, the baking time can also be longer!
