Knead 250 g flour, 100 g sugar and 190 g butter to crumble crumbles and chill.
Peel, core, quarter and slice apples. Drizzle with lemon juice.
Mix 200 g butter and 175 g sugar for 8 minutes with the hand mixer until creamy (sounds unnecessary, but that`s what makes the cake so fine). Stir in eggs for 30 seconds one after the other. Mix 250 g flour, pudding powder and baking powder and stir in alternately with the orange juice.
Spread the dough on a baking sheet (40 x 30 cm) that has been greased or lined with baking paper and cover with the apple wedges. Spread the sprinkles over it.
Bake in the preheated oven at 175 ° C (convection 160 ° C) on the 2nd rack from the bottom for 35-40 minutes.
Let cool and, if you like, dust with powdered sugar.
The recipe also tastes very good if you take plums and instead of vanilla pudding powder, caramel pudding powder.
