- Roll out the puff pastry in a tart form. Prick the ground several times with a fork.
- Peel the sweet apples, cut into strips and spread on the bottom.
- For the vanilla topping:
- Whisk eggs, cream, sugar, 1 packet of vanilla sugar and 1 tablespoon of cognac. Pour over the apples and sprinkle with a packet of vanilla sugar.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for about 1 hour.
