Knead the dough together on the board, roll out a good half, place on the baking tray as a base. Mix the apple sauce with the other ingredients and spread it on the dough base. Roll out the remaining dough and place on a grid, bake. Brush with rum glaze if you like. Baking time: approx. 30-40 minutes at 190 degrees.
Another tip: cakes can be frozen very easily in portions.
