Instructions
- Heat a large pan over medium-high heat. Add 1 unpeeled garlic clove to flavor the oil.
- Place 4 hip steaks in the pan with minimal oil. Cook for 3-4 minutes per side until the internal temperature reaches 63°C (145°F).
- While the steaks cook, peel the avocado and place the pieces in a mixing bowl. Add 2 peeled garlic cloves, salt, pepper, and oregano.
- Puree the avocado mixture with a hand blender until smooth.
- Spread the avocado puree evenly on the 8 slices of toast.
- Top each slice with a hip steak.
