Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 180-200°C (355-390°F).
  2. Grate the hard cheese.
  3. Add 1 egg to the grated cheese and stir well to combine.
  4. Roll out the defrosted puff pastry to 0.5 cm thick and cut into 6 equal-sized squares.
  5. Place the cheese-egg filling in the center of each square.
  6. Fold the four corners of each square to the center and seal the edges firmly.
  7. Place the khachapuri on a baking sheet.
  8. Separate the remaining egg's yolk from the white. Beat the yolk with a fork and brush over the top of each khachapuri.
  9. Bake for about 30 minutes until golden brown.
