Instructions

  1. Mix the grated ginger, garlic, sugar with 2 tablespoons of cornstarch and 3 tablespoons of soy sauce. Put the beef in it and let it steep for at least 15 minutes. Clean the broccoli and cut the florets into bite-sized pieces. Mix 2 tablespoons of cornstarch with 3 tablespoons of soy sauce and 350 ml of water.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a wok, sear the beef in it for about 3 minutes, then remove. Put the remaining 2 tablespoons of oil in the wok and fry the broccoli with the onions until al dente. Then add the beef and the soy sauce-water mixture and bring to the boil until the sauce thickens. Possibly season with a little soy sauce.
  3. Best served over rice.
