Cut the chicken breasts into not too small strips and soak in a marinade of soy sauce, a dash of balsamic vinegar, pepper, Chinese spices and the crushed clove of garlic and a little cooking oil for at least half a day.
Then drain the pieces of meat and turn them in flour. Fry the pieces briefly on both sides in a pan over high heat and deglaze with a strong dash of soy sauce. Allow to reduce very briefly and then caramelize with approx. 3 tablespoons of sugar. Then immediately remove from the pan and set aside. The pieces should now be coated with a delicious layer of caramelized sugar. You have to be very careful not to nibble them away while you continue cooking !!
Now add a little more oil to the pan and briefly toss the chopped vegetables so that they still have a nice bite. Season with soy sauce, Chinese spices, pepper, salt and - if you like - a little sambal olek.
