Cut the peeled asparagus into pieces and place on (grill) aluminum foil. Grill foil is usually a bit thicker, so double up normal aluminum foil. Sprinkle the asparagus pieces with salt, pepper, sugar and herbs and put the butter and a thin lemon wedge on top.
Fold everything up like candy and place on the grill for about 10-15 minutes, depending on the heat on the grill. Perhaps after 10 minutes look carefully. Personally, I like the asparagus with a distinct bite, which is why it was cooked almost too long last time after 12 minutes.
Note from the chef`s recipe processing: If you do not want to use aluminum foil, use parchment paper or baking paper for the packets. If you use lemon juice and salt, this is recommended for health reasons.
