Cook the asparagus as usual (if necessary, you can also use the asparagus from the jar) and keep warm. Cut the bacon into small cubes and fry in a pan until crispy, also keep warm. Cut the onion into small cubes and sauté. Then add the cream and bring to the boil. Mix the cornstarch and thicken the sauce with it.
Toast toasted bread, distribute on 4 plates. Then place the asparagus on top, pour the sauce over it, top with the bacon cubes and sprinkle with the parsley.
Really well suited as a starter or as a small meal in between. Have fun cooking at home.
