Peel the vegetables and apples and cut into small cubes. Cut the onions into rings. Cut the Kassler into small cubes. Put the ingredients in a large saucepan. Add the water, the spices and the stock cubes. Bring the ingredients to a boil over high heat, then simmer over medium heat for 30-40 minutes.
