Instructions

  1. Peel and dice the potatoes and cook them in water.
  2. In the meantime, cut the spring onions and chilli pepper into small rings. Finely chop the parsley. Halve the avocado, remove the stone and scrape out the pulp with a spoon.
  3. When the potatoes are cooked (knife test), pour off the water and collect 1 cup.
  4. Next, add the avocado to the potatoes and mash everything to a pulp. If the mixture is too firm, add some of the potato water. Now season the porridge with salt and pepper and add the spring onions, chilli pepper and parsley.
  5. The mash is done and it can be served.
  6. A salad, fish, gratinated cheese and much more go well with the mashed potatoes.
  7. Tips:
  8. With this porridge you can again experiment as you like it.
  9. For example, garlic goes really well with potatoes and avocado.
  10. Instead of parsley, you can use other herbs.
  11. A little lemon also gives the dish a special note.
