Cut the baguette, panini or ciabatta into approx. 2.5 cm thick slices (diameter 6 - 8 cm) and roast in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for a few minutes until they are lightly browned.
Then brush each with 1 teaspoon of olive oil, sprinkle some Parmesan cheese on top, place 2 sun-dried tomatoes on top, then some Parmesan cheese again and finally garnish with the plucked basil leaves.
If you like, you can roast the bruschette in the oven for another 1 - 2 minutes.
Alternative ingredients: Manchego cheese instead of Parmesan / fresh tomato slices instead of dried tomatoes, plus Serrano ham under the tomatoes.
