Soak the Bacalhau for 24 hours, renewing the water several times. Then cook in the milk.
Peel and bone the cooked bacalhau. Peel the onions and cut into rings. Chop the garlic.
Boil the potatoes in their skins, peel them and cut them into slices.
Steam the onions and garlic in olive oil. Add the potato slices and finally the prepared bacalhau. Mix the ingredients together and season carefully with salt and pepper. Put everything together in a baking dish and place in the hot oven for ten minutes. Arrange on a plate decorated with parsley and the boiled eggs.
Variation: Put the fish in a clay pot and prepare in the oven.
