- Steam the peeled asparagus in salted water until firm to the bite.
- Halve the ham slices. Wrap 2 asparagus spears with a slice of ham, place the rolls next to each other in a greased baking dish.
- Whisk the coffee cream and egg well, season with salt, pepper and possibly nutmeg. Mix in 1 tablespoon grated cheese and pour over the asparagus.
- Cut the tomatoes into slices and top with the asparagus. Spread the rest of the cheese on top.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for approx. 15-20 minutes.
- Sprinkle with chopped parsley on top.
