Instructions

  1. Remove pin bones from the salmon fillet, rinse it, and place skin-side down on aluminum foil. Make several shallow cuts across the skin (do not cut into the flesh). Season with salt and pepper. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
  2. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Add the honey and the juice from half the lemon. Heat for 1 minute more, then remove from heat.
  3. Pour the garlic butter over the salmon fillet. Sprinkle with the freshly grated parmesan and chopped parsley. Slice the remaining lemon and arrange the slices over the fish.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 °C (356 °F) on the middle shelf for 20 minutes, until the salmon is cooked through.
