Cook the beans in boiling salted water with the savory until they are firm to the bite. Preheat the grill.
Wrap the beans in small bundles with 1/2 slice of bacon each and fry on all sides in a coated pan.
Place the bundled beans side by side in a baking dish, sprinkle with freshly ground coarse pepper and a little Emmentaler. Bake under the grill for about 5 minutes.
