Peel the onion and cut into small cubes. Fry brown with a little oil and set aside. Wash the liver, dust it with a little flour and also fry in the pan. Then add the onion and fill up with water. Cover and simmer for about 1.5 hours. Season to taste with salt, pepper and a little Maggi. If the sauce has not boiled down enough, bind with a little sauce thickener (dark).
Serve with mashed potatoes or homemade potato dumplings.
