Thoroughly clean the potatoes, brush with oil and bake in the oven (center) for approx. 45 minutes until they are soft.
Halve the potatoes crosswise, hollow them out and use the potato flesh for other purposes.
Sprinkle the halves with salt and pepper, put them next to each other on a baking sheet, sprinkle the grated cheese on the potatoes and put a few flakes of butter in them. Bake in the oven until the cheese has melted.
A good snack in between, e.g. at a party, or a slightly different side dish to steaks.
