Instructions

  1. Prepare a breading station in advance: 1 bowl with flour, 1 bowl with the beaten egg, seasoned with chilli flakes, and 1 bowl with panko.
  2. In a smaller pan, pour in the oil at least a thumb`s width and heat.
  3. Peel the banana. Cut off the two ends and cut the rest of the banana into 4 equal pieces. With a sharp knife, hollow out the banana pieces from one side. (This mass can be used otherwise). Pour the Nutella into the openings.
  4. Roll the filled banana pieces first in flour, then in the beaten egg and finally in the panko. Now fry the banana croquettes in hot oil until they are brown all over. Lift the pieces out of the oil and degrease on double paper towels.
  5. Mix the sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl and bread the croquettes in it.
  6. Arrange the croquettes on a platter, garnish and serve. The dessert tastes warm and cold.
