Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas with a fork and bring to the boil, mixed with lemon juice (or grapefruit juice), water and preserving sugar. Let it simmer for 4 minutes and pour it into glasses while hot.
  2. Tip: The jam gets a fine nuance if you stir in a tablespoon of rum or brandy before pouring it into the glasses.
