Cut the bananas into bite-sized pieces. Put together with the quark in a bowl and mash. Add the vanilla pulp to the quark, season the quark with sugar and stir until smooth with a dash of milk or soda. The mass should be creamy. If it is too dry, add a little more liquid. Stir in chocolate chips to taste. If you like, fold in some whipped cream.
Put the scraped pod into the quark and let the quark steep in the refrigerator for about 2 hours. Then remove the pod, it has then done its job.
