Instructions

  1. Use ripe, but still firm bananas without bruises. Peel the bananas and cut in half lengthways.
  2. Whip the cream with the vanilla sugar until stiff, pour into a piping bag with a star nozzle and put a thick dab of cream in the middle of each plate. Place a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the left and right of it.
  3. Place the banana halves on the dessert plate to the left and right of the ice cream so that the whole thing looks like a boat. Drizzle the whole thing with chocolate sauce. Sprinkle with sliced almonds and serve.
