Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta al dente according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. In the meantime, cut the meat into small pieces and fry in hot oil in a larger saucepan. Season as needed, then remove and keep warm.
  3. Make a roux from flour, margarine, cream and broth. To do this, leave out the margarine in a saucepan and sprinkle in the flour. Sweat briefly. Gradually pour in the broth and the cream, stir again and again with a whisk and bring to the boil in between (do not let the sauce become too runny. If necessary, add a little salt to the sauce. Add the basil and stir. Now add the meat again and let it get hot.
  4. Cut the mozzarella into pieces.
  5. Arrange the pasta with the sauce on plates, sprinkle some cold mozzarella on top and serve decorated with a few whole basil leaves.
  6. Tip: You can leave out the meat for the vegetarian option.
  7. Not necessarily low in calories, but it`s worth it! I cannot guarantee the quantities, either, I always do it according to my feelings.
