- First cut the bacon into small strips and after peeling, cut the onions into small cubes.
- Then leave out the bacon in a saucepan, add the onion cubes and lightly brown. Next, add the maple syrup and caramelize the bacon and onions in it.
- Add the two types of beans, BBQ sauce and BBQ rub and stir well.
- The BBQ beans are ready as soon as everything is really hot.
- Tip: The dish tastes even better when warmed up the next day than freshly prepared.
