Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
  2. Fry the minced meat in a pan over medium-high heat for 5-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until browned and cooked through (internal temperature 71°C/160°F). Season with salt and pepper.
  3. Spread a barbecue sauce with a slightly sweet flavor over each toast.
  4. Top each toast with the cooked minced meat.
  5. Cut the 2 red onions into half rings and distribute over the minced meat on each toast.
  6. Arrange bacon strips on top and sprinkle the grated mozzarella over everything.
  7. Place the topped toasts on a baking tray and bake for 12-15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly and the bacon is cooked through and crispy.
