Wash, peel and grate the beetroot very finely. Peel and core the apples, also grate finely.
Make a marinade from 1 cup of sour cream and lemon juice. Mix with the beetroot and the apples, leave to steep for a moment. Add the nuts and a little salt.
This salad looks very nice when served on green lettuce leaves. It is suitable as a snack and tastes good with black bread or baguette.
