Have you ever tried to cook Belarusian sorcerers? If your answer is no, then I strongly recommend that you fix it as soon as possible and cook potato pancakes with meat filling according to this recipe – sorcerers.
Place grated potatoes and onion in a bowl. Season with about 1/3 to 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and ground pepper. Add 1-2 tbsp flour. Mix well with a spoon. If excess liquid pools, drain it.
Season minced meat with about 1/3 to 1/2 teaspoon each of salt and ground pepper. Mix well and form into flat patties.
Heat 2 tbsp vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.
Spread approximately 1 tbsp of potato mixture in the pan and gently flatten with the back of a spoon.
Place one meat patty on top of the flattened potato layer.
Top the meat patty with approximately 1 tbsp of potato mixture and gently flatten.
Fry over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until the bottom is golden. Flip carefully and fry the other side for 2-3 minutes until golden.
Transfer each cooked sorcerer to a baking sheet. Continue assembling and frying the remaining potato mixture and meat patties the same way.
Bake all sorcerers in a preheated 180°C (355°F) oven for 30 minutes until fully cooked.
