Finely chop the parsley and / or chives. Cut the mushrooms (I usually take oyster mushrooms and rather cut them into larger pieces) and put them in a saucepan with the parsley and / or chives and sour cream. Add turmeric, berber and salt. Heat the whole thing and don`t let it simmer for too long (max. 4 minutes).

Berbere is an Ethiopian spice mix (sweet paprika, garlic, ginger, coriander, cumin, chilli, onion, basil, cardamom, black pepper, cinnamon and allspice) that can be bought in health food stores.
