Instructions

  1. Bring the peas soaked overnight in the soaking water with bacon, onion and a little uncut soup greens to the boil and slowly cook on a low heat. Pour more water as needed.
  2. Add potato cubes in the last 15 minutes. Before serving, remove the bacon, stir about 3/4 of the soup through a sieve, cut the bacon into small pieces and return to the soup. Season to taste with a little pepper, marjoram and savory.
