- Break the chocolate into pieces and melt with the butter over low heat; Allow to cool slightly. Roughly chop the walnut kernels.
- Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Stir in the chocolate mixture, fold in the flour. Add walnuts *.
- Pour the dough into a square baking pan approx. 20 x 20 cm in size and smooth it out.
- Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius and bake for 20 minutes.
- While the brownies are cooling, melt the couverture and spread it thickly on the warm cake.
- As soon as the glaze has set slightly, cut out approx. 25 cubes and decorate.
