Instructions

  1. Wash the blackberries and elderberries, sort and place in a saucepan. Add sugar and vanilla sugar and top up with the red wine. Bring to a boil and simmer for a few minutes (not too long), remove from heat and let steep for 24 hours.
  2. The next day, mix everything with the schnapps, filter through a cloth (do not squeeze the berries!) And fill the liqueur into bottles.
  3. The amount makes about 3 0.7 liter bottles.
  4. This liqueur also tastes very good with other fruits, e.g. with sour cherries or plums.
