Instructions

  1. Put 160 g sugar, 160 ml water and 125 g blueberries in a saucepan. Bring to the boil on the highest setting. As soon as it starts to boil, turn it down a bit. Let simmer for about 5 minutes and stir frequently. Then strain everything, ideally with a pasta sieve and leave to cool for 2 hours.
  2. Tips: If you have several servings, you can put everything together in a container and let them cool together, and you have homemade syrup. Then measure out 300 ml for further preparation.
  3. What is left in the sieve can be used as blueberry jam (it tastes great, so use it).
  4. Squeeze 2 lemons and pour the juice through a sieve into the 300 ml syrup.
  5. When everything has cooled down, put 500 ml of water in a container (preferably a bottle), add 300 ml of homemade syrup and finally 200 ml of vodka. Now just mix.
  6. Pour the contents into a glass, add a few ice cubes and serve.
