Mix together all ingredients up to and including flaked almonds. Fold in the egg whites. Fill into a springform pan and bake in a preheated convection oven at approx. 150 degrees for approx. 70 - 80 minutes. Please check with wooden sticks.
Tip: when the quark has run out, the cake becomes even looser! Also great on the sheet. After cooling, top with fruit and 2 pieces of cake topping.
