Ingredients

  • 1 kg quark (low-fat quark)
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 250 g mararine
  • 5 egg yolks
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 0.5 ½ pack baking powder
  • 6 tablespoon semolina
  • 2 dashes lemon (s)
  • 100 g almond (s) (flakes)
  • 5 egg whites, beaten as egg whites

Instructions

  1. Mix together all ingredients up to and including flaked almonds. Fold in the egg whites. Fill into a springform pan and bake in a preheated convection oven at approx. 150 degrees for approx. 70 - 80 minutes. Please check with wooden sticks.
  2. Tip: when the quark has run out, the cake becomes even looser! Also great on the sheet. After cooling, top with fruit and 2 pieces of cake topping.
