Instructions

  1. Peel the onion, dice it small and sauté in the hot butter. Meanwhile, cut the cabbage into small pieces (strips, approx. 1 x 4 cm), wash. Season the minced meat lightly with salt and pepper.
  2. When the onions are lightly browned, put a layer of cabbage on top. Put a layer of minced meat on the cabbage and press it on. Then again cabbage, minced meat, as the top layer of cabbage and always make sure to press the minced meat on.
  3. Then sprinkle with salt and pepper and pour a small cup of water over it. Cook for half an hour over medium heat. Stir after 30 minutes so that the mince and cabbage mix. Make sure that there is not too much water in the pot, otherwise it will not taste good. Cook for another 30-40 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Boiled potatoes or mashed potatoes go well with this.
