Divide the broccoli into small florets, peel the stalk and cut into small pieces. Cut the onion into not too small cubes.
In a pan with a lid, heat the oil and let the onions take on color. It takes a few minutes. Dust generously with cayenne pepper and stir. Add the broth and the broccoli florets and steam with the lid closed and at a reduced temperature until the desired firmness is reached. Stir every now and then, letting the condensation flow into the pan.
As a side dish, this is definitely enough for 2 people. Anyone who knows me knows that it is a main course for me.
