Bring salted water to a boil in a saucepan. Peel the garlic and cut into fine cubes. Wash the lemon under hot water and rub the peel. Squeeze half of the lemon.
Divide the broccoli into florets and blanch for 2 minutes in boiling salted water. Drain in a colander.
Heat the olive oil in another pan or in a wok and let the garlic sear a little over a low heat. Add the broccoli and toss in the garlic oil until it is cooked but still has a bite.
Finally add the lemon zest, season with lemon juice, pepper and salt to taste.
Tastes very tasty as an accompaniment to fish or any kind of meat.
