Place the bread on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush or drizzle with vegetable oil. I used a silicone brush. Place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 10-15 minutes.
While the bread is baking, prepare the filling: rinse the tomatoes, pour over with boiling water, remove the skin. Cut into 4 pieces and remove seeds.
Finely chop the tomato pulp, add peeled, a finely chopped clove of garlic, powdered sugar, salt, and black pepper. Stir.
The bread is ready!
Place some tomato filling on each slice and sprinkle with chopped basil leaves.
Bruschetta with tomatoes and basil is ready! Optionally, you can add grated Parmesan to the dish.
