Instructions

  1. This burger is simple but awesome. Almost all ingredients can be made yourself or bought ready-made - depending on how much time and inclination you have.
  2. For the camembert burger you prepare all the ingredients or have them ready:
  3. Wash the lettuce and chop the leaves.
  4. Wash the tomatoes and cut into thick slices.
  5. Chop the cashweed kernels very roughly or leave them whole so that the bite remains.
  6. It starts with the Camembert: Bake it in the oven according to the manufacturer`s instructions (approx. 20 min at 180 ° C). This goes at the same time as the side dishes, e.g. steakhouse fries.
  7. While the cheese is in the oven, make the patties: To do this, lightly salt and pepper the beef, knead well and shape into 4 burger patties of 125 g each. They taste best on the grill, but they can also be fried. Sear it on both sides and then let it simmer for a good 5 minutes over a medium heat. Finally, put the burger buns in the oven for 1 - 2 minutes so that they get warm.
  8. When everything is ready, the stacking starts. The order determines the taste: Spread 1 - 2 tablespoons of Texicana Salsa on the lower roll, then put 2 leaves of lettuce on top. Brush the top half of the bun with 1 large tablespoon of mango chutney and sprinkle with the cashew nuts. Place the tomatoes on top.
  9. Now come the hot components: Place the patty on the salad and top it with the oven-fresh Camenbert. Now fold up quickly and stick a wooden skewer through the turret from top to bottom so that the burger is easy to eat.
  10. It is important that you take the camembert out of the oven last so that it drains nicely when you cut it!
