Instructions

  1. Peel shallots.
  2. Put the sugar in a saucepan and let it caramelize. Add butter and stir until the caramel comes off the pan. Add the shallots, white wine and the vinegar. Cook over medium heat for 20-25 minutes. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  3. I recommend a pork or veal steak with boiled potatoes.
