Peel the carrots and grate finely or coarsely, depending on your preference.
Finely dice the onions and garlic. Finely chop the parsley. Rasp cheese.
Melt the butter in a large pan, fry the onions and garlic until translucent. Briefly sauté the parsley. Add the carrots and sauté. Season with salt and pepper.
Put the carrot mixture in a bowl. Sprinkle the cheese on top and mix in quickly. Put everything in a baking dish.
Whisk the eggs, add milk and cream. Pour the mixture over the casserole.
Bake the casserole for about 30 minutes.
An uncomplicated dish that can be prepared quickly and tastes very tasty - whether as a side dish or as a main course.
We either have potatoes from the baking sheet and green salad, or meatballs and boiled potatoes.
