Peel the carrots and potatoes and cut into pieces of about the same size. Melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the finely chopped onions and bacon, add the carrots with the potatoes and fry them briefly. Season and deglaze with the broth. Place the meatloaf on top and cook everything for about 30 minutes.
Place the meatloaf on the plates, mash the carrot and potato mash a little and serve with the meatloaf.
