Soak the cashew nuts in water for at least 1 hour. Then drain the water and add the remaining ingredients. Process in a blender or with a hand blender to a creamy mass. Pour into a jar. The spread should be kept in the refrigerator.
With syrup and cocoa you can vary depending on your taste. With 2 spoons of cocoa you get a fine dark note. You can do it with just a spoon of cocoa.
